Q. What time do I have to arrive at the retreat?

A. Our program starts on Friday at 8 am and ends on Sunday at 12:30 pm. 

Q. What airport do I fly into?

A. LAX

Q. How do I get from the airport to the retreat's location?

A. If you are flying in, we can help you coordinate with others to share an Uber.

Q. What is the address?

A. 5180 Kingsgrove Drive, Los Angeles, CA 93066

Q. Who will I room with?

A. Most rooms accommodate two women. Some rooms have more women per room.

Q. Where will I be staying?

A. The retreat is in Somis, California (an hour away from Los Angeles). We will be staying in a house in a beautiful rural area amongst California's lemon and avocado groves. 

Q. What is the program like?

A. It is a very robust program full of workshops and restorative activities. 

Q. May I bring my baby?

A. Unfortunately, we are not currently able to accommodate babies in the program.

Q. Will there be food, or should I bring my own?

A. The food will be catered and healthy and with lots of options at each meal for those who are gluten-free or sugar-free.  

Q. How many people are coming?

A. We have only a limited number of spots for women. There are a total of 25 available openings. 

Q. Is there an Eiruv on the property?

A. Yes

Q. Could I apply for a scholarship?

A. As of right now, we don’t have a scholarship option, but we offer an early bird discount. If the price is stopping you from coming, reach out through the website, and we can explore other options. 

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

A. Nonrefundable

Q. Can I use a payment plan?

A. As of right now, we don’t have that option.

Q. Can I request a roommate?

A. Please do! And we will try our best to accommodate that request!

Q. What is the hechsher for the food?

A. The OK. The caterer will be either Yossi's or Lieder's.

Q. What should I bring to wear?

A. Comfortable clothes. This program is rigorous, transformative, and supportive. It is essential to be comfortable to have a complete experience.  There are sessions interspersed with rest periods, creative outlets, and movement. 

Q. I’m arriving Thursday night. Can I stay at the retreat location early?

A. The retreat location is not available Thursday night. A good idea would be to stay at a hotel near Somis and then Uber to the retreat Friday morning. Another idea would be to stay with a friend in the Los Angeles community and catch a ride with an Angeleno to the retreat. 

Q. I’m super nervous about privacy…?

A. Many of the women coming feel vulnerable, which is a natural concern. You do not have to share to benefit. Women come for many reasons, and your attendance is not an indication of a problem. 

Q. Is it ok if I come late or leave early?

A. There are continuous sessions and guided activities that build on each other throughout the weekend.  It’s crucial to be there for every session and fully experience the flow of the program. We have put a tremendous amount of thought and intention into the itinerary and want you to get the whole experience! Note: If you are flying in, it is essential to know that our program begins at 8:30 am sharp, and we have a full schedule. If you are driving in: Please plan your travel with the understanding that it takes an hour to drive from Los Angeles or from the airport to our retreat location. 

Q. Can I get a discount for bringing a friend?

A. We do not offer a bring-a-friend discount. We acknowledge you for coming with a friend. It is lovely to have support when growing your marriage.
